California is one of the cities that showcases the mid-century design in its restaurants or diners as reliably as possible. It’s no surprise that Pauma café and buffet, part of the Pauma casino, is one of those examples. We are obsessed with this interior design project, and we’re sure you’ll be too by the end of this article!

A project by I-5 Design, Pauma café and buffet is a space filled with a warm and inviting atmosphere with orange tones and the typical mid-century style that we so adore and that brings us back to the 40’s, 50’s and 60’s.

The entrance to the buffet and café reminds us of Hollywood in the old days, and we can’t help but be nostalgic and excited in finding out what comes next. When you enter the space, you really don’t know what to expect, but you certainly wouldn’t be disappointed with it. We’ll show you exactly why.

To get you ready for what’s to come, this small dining area with a bold rug pattern and orange tones in its lighting and even walls, already gets us excited for the next rooms. With the combination of wood on the door, tables and chair legs, and leather on the seats, we clearly see the thought put into every detail.

The buffet area is as warm and inviting as the rest of the café and casino, and we can’t help but notice the use of the black lamps over the buffet counter, definitely pieces that we can’t get over. The wood used on the counter mixed with the metal and glass, as well as the lighter tones of the walls, combine perfectly.

If you’re looking for a palette that describes the mid-century design, this is a good example. The bright and bold colors of this space, the juxtaposition of different materials, and how functional every piece is despite the uniqueness and stylish element to it, is exactly what we’d expect out of a project like this.

Of course, we couldn’t not mention this room. To partner with the orange tones of the remaining space, an orange tree was built and installed in the center of this café and buffet, with earthy tones surrounding it to perfectly combine with it. The brown leather seats, the green of the back of the chairs, and even the rug with brown and green patterns, all designed to harmonize with each other in this beautiful design.

Arching wood beans suspended over the seating area, wall murals, amber mica chandeliers and richly upholstered booths and furniture, as well as cultured rock columns, make this a perfect area to relax and enjoy your time in this wonderful space.

If you’re just as excited about this as we are, make sure to visit Pauma Café and Buffet on Pauma Casino, California, and check for yourself! We’re sure you’ll have a great time and thoroughly enjoy the interior design of this space.
