In a new Brooklyn project by Lorraine Kirke comes a modern restaurant you’ll adore!

If you know Lorraine Kirke, an incredible interior designer that has worked with clients such as Mary Louise Parker and Mariska Hargitay, then you’re probably aware of her new project in Bushwick, Brooklyn: the Gemelli. This modern restaurant with a futuristic style is a mix of creativity and luxury. Want to take a look?

The designer is Lorraine Kirke and she has designed the space of Gemelli, a Brooklyn restaurant with a modern and creative decor, a futuristic style with a touch of contemporary that is sure to be the new freshest spot for a great meal and good company.

Open now and comprised of 25 indoor bar stools and 18 outdoor seats (the architectural details were done by the studio First Third), Gemelli pairs homemade Italian fare with a strong mixology program. When designing this restaurant, Kirke was able to make her vision come to mind: a cross between Italian futurism and a Tuscan villa.

A cool blue palette and vine-colored walls evoke the Mediterranean, while the concrete bar and geometric wooden beams add an industrial touch. Creative a haven for everyone that visits this incredibly intimate and beautiful restaurant, Kirke is able to bring the best of luxury design into a small space.

The bathroom is covered in black mirrors and calls for a futuristic vibe mixed with a stunning contemporary design. The industrial but luxurious touch is evident even in this room and we’re simply obsessed with the strong lines and Italian references.
